What we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to make us stop.

Last updated 2026-08-04

01Who we are

This service is operated by [TODO: registered company name] ([TODO: registered address]). Questions about this policy, or any request about your personal data, go to privacy@trissinoai.com.

We sell conference intelligence to companies. The people whose data we handle are mostly employees of our business customers, plus visitors to this website.

02What we collect

Account information. Your email address and name when you create an account, handled for us by Clerk.

What you submit. The company website addresses you ask us to analyse, and the trip parameters you enter, such as destination, dates and traveller counts.

What we generate about you. The analyses, conference recommendations, cost estimates and one-pagers produced from your inputs, kept so you can return to them.

How you use the site. Pages viewed, buttons clicked, how far down a page you scrolled, how long you stayed, errors your browser hit, and page load speed. This is used to find what is broken or confusing.

Technical information. Your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate country, derived from the connection your browser makes.

03What we do not collect

We do not capture what you type into form fields. Our measurement records that a field was focused and whether it was filled, never its contents.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or for building profiles that are shared with anyone.

Text read from the page for measurement is truncated and scrubbed of anything that looks like an email address, a phone number or a token before it leaves your browser.

04Why we use it

To provide the service: running the analysis you asked for, producing recommendations and estimates, and keeping your work available when you return.

To operate and improve the service: understanding which steps people abandon, which controls do not work, and which pages are slow.

To communicate with you about your account, and to bill you if you are on a paid plan.

To meet legal obligations, and to investigate abuse or misuse of the service.

05Measurement and external transmission

When you use this site, information about your visit is transmitted to our analytics provider. This disclosure is made under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act external transmission rules. Write to privacy@trissinoai.com and we will tell you who that provider is and what is sent.

Until you accept the notice shown on your first visit, measurement runs without persistent identifiers: nothing that identifies you across visits is stored on your device. If you decline, measurement stops.

We honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends either, we do not measure you at all and you will not be asked.

06Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run the product, covering hosting, the database, sign-in, analytics, and the models that generate the analysis. They process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Write to privacy@trissinoai.com for the current list.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public, and to a buyer or successor if the business is sold, in which case this policy continues to apply until it is replaced.

We do not otherwise provide personal data to third parties without your consent.

07Transfers outside Japan

Our service providers are located in the United States, so personal data is transferred there and handled under United States law, which affords protections different from those under Japanese law.

We rely on contractual commitments with each provider requiring standards equivalent to those the APPI requires of us. Write to privacy@trissinoai.com for the current list of providers, what each one does, and where it is located.

You may ask us for information about the safeguards in place for any specific provider, using the contact address above.

08How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account exists, and for a short period afterwards so an account deleted by mistake can be restored.

Analyses, recommendations and one-pagers are kept while your account exists, because their value is in being able to return to them.

Usage measurement is kept for as long as our analytics provider retains it under our plan, and is aggregated rather than kept per person once it is no longer useful for diagnosing a specific problem.

Data we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes is kept for the period the law specifies.

09Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to privacy@trissinoai.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to object to processing, to request a portable copy of your data, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.

You can withdraw consent to measurement at any time by declining the notice on this site, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.

10Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

11Children

This is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to privacy@trissinoai.com and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do with data changes. The date at the top is the version in force.

If a change materially affects your rights we will tell account holders directly rather than relying on you to notice.
